Who is Alexander Oxford

Hello, my name is Alexander Oxford and at the age of 12 I was blessed with a gift, that gift being BACK PAIN. My back was so bad that at one stage walking was almost impossible. Little did I know it at the time on how powerful and how much influence it was going to have on my life. You know when something comes across and changes your whole life? Well this was one of those moments.

I then decided to start researching about muscles and their function. The interesting fact was that, the more I researched the more I found that the techniques that I was exposed back when I was twelve and the philosophical underpinnings on which they worked was very rare. So rare that it was not being taught anywhere.

So I had to go back to the source, the person who helped me in the beginning, that being my uncle. I find that most of the time the answers we want in life are always in front of our face, it is just that we do not pay attention to them.

So I was fortunate enough to interview him and this is what he taught me:

  1. The truth about muscles isn’t that they pull boned out of place when they are tight, they are tight because they are trying to stabilise bones. The brain does not want to destroy itself, it wants to preserve the body.
  2. If the muscle is tight and cannot stabilise and protect the body, blood flow is restricted and therefore cannot perform at its best. Our job is to help that muscle fulfil its outcome so then the blood can flow and the body can resume optimal performance.
  3. The body has its own mechanism to repair itself. Our job is to help the body to optimise recovery, the trick is to find out what the body is attempting to do and help the body achieve it.
  4. Never look at the body as the sum of its parts, it is greater than that. Just because it hurts at a certain place does not mean that the problem is there. Make sure you check the entire spine.
  5. Make sure you ‘look’ at the body with your hands and not your eyes. Just because someone’s posture is not the way you think it should be, does not mean it is bad. The body knows what its ideal posture is, and it is always attempting to keep it that way, what a practitioner does is help it, not change it.

My Biggest Lesson Ever!

The Biggest lesson I have learned from all this comes from the question “Why does the body work so hard to stabilise the Joints of the Spine”. The answer to this question lies in the heart of NeuroSpinology and that being helping the bodies Power Supply! That meaning, whenever there is a compromise in the joint the Neuro Power supply becomes Deficient and now the body needs to work hard to remove this deficiency by using its muscles to restore stability back to the joints and therefore optimise the Neuro Power Supply.

Neurosріnоlоgу is a profession that works to improve thе rеlаtіоnѕhір between thе bоnеѕ in thе ѕріnаl соlumn, thаt is, thе vertebrae, tо ensure thеrе is nо іntеrfеrеnсе to thе central nervous system.

Vеrtеbrае fіt tоgеthеr tо fоrm a ѕріnаl соlumn, whісh іn turn houses thе spinal cord аnd spinal nerve rооtѕ – the brаіn’ѕ соntrоl pathways tо аll раrtѕ оf thе bоdу, including thе оrgаnѕ, glаndѕ аnd muѕсlеѕ.

Whеn there іѕ a lоѕѕ оf rеlаtіоnѕhір bеtwееn thе ѕріnаl vеrtеbrае, іt саn interfere wіth thе nоrmаl іmрulѕеѕ to and from the brаіn, resulting in a соndіtіоn thаt Neurospinologists refer tо аѕ “а spinal оbtruѕіоn”.

Thе central nеrvоuѕ system controls еvеrу function of the humаn bоdу bу ѕendіng the messages from thе brain tо thе other tissues оf the bоdу and bасk thrоugh the ѕріnаl соrd аnd thе spinal nerves.

Thе absolute reality is thаt thе nеrvоuѕ ѕуѕtеm controls еvеrу single function іn thе humаn bоdу. Two miracles happened.

Been in living hell the last two months. degeneration in my neck causing tingling, pain and weakness in my right arm along with limited neck movement. Decided I had nothing to lose so booked in with Alex.

Very professional and explained everything clearly including the whys and hows etc. He was caring and gentle and asked if I was ok with every movement. careful to not take me past what I could manage. Not only focused on my neck but helped my bad hips and lower curved spine as well. Very thorough.

Then two miracles happened. I was able to stand with strength in my hips I havent felt in a long time. He then asked me to move my head to the right. I did it slowly expecting pain but there was NONE! I felt free and had movement. I will admit I cried with shock, relief and happiness.
He understood all my emotions and even guided me through them.
Every receptionist was equally professional and supportive. Definitely worth the try and worth going back.

Thank you guys. I wasn’t sure if I could make it through the wait to see a neurosurgeon. But now I know I have the support and strength to do just that. you guys rock and are so amazing.
Knowing I’m doing something instead of waiting has also provided much mental relief.

I feel more straight, more mobile and pain free!

I had a treatment found it to be very unique. I have had neck and shoulder and rib and hip problems for a very long time and have seeked help but no one else could treat me the way I needed.

The spinopractic massage is painful however it’s quick and you can feel it working immediately but also for days later.
I feel more straight, more mobile and pain free

That brought tears to my eyes

I got hurt in a car accident over 4 years ago , I fight everyday just to live a life as normal as possible, I can’t feel the left side of my face or my hands from my elbows down ,I had a person give me the information for a trial ,and made a very quick simple call and was in for an appointment that same arvo, Alex sat and listened to what I’ve been living and my injuries, the treatments I’ve been having and the surgeries ahead of myself ,and he really listened and understood, I got on the table and he went to work , very professionally and talked and explained throughout the treatment and then something happened, that brought tears to my eyes:
I felt the left side of my face tingle , it might not be a huge thing or sound like a big thing ,but it gave me something at times I have lost HOPE
Thank you Alex, I know it’s going to be a long road, but I know I’m in good hands ,
